Moroccan Tile Project

Much of this work has grown out of my time spent within Moroccan homes and interiors—spaces where architecture, pattern, and daily ritual create a distinct sense of intimacy and care.

I have become especially drawn to zellige, the traditional Moroccan tilework constructed from hand-cut geometric fragments assembled into larger repeating patterns. Beyond their visual beauty, these structures have become large inspirations. I see parallels between the construction of these interiors and the way identity itself is formed: through repetition, fragmentation, inheritance, adaptation, and reconstruction over time.
